The Model 43 is an inside diameter welding head for ID cladding or welding of pipe joints and other applications. It is a rugged, field-proven weld head and has been used extensively in nuclear repair and nuclear component assembly plants as well as fossil power generation, chemical, and vessel manufacturing.

- Rugged, reliable ID weld head with 300 A GTAW torch
- Range from 6.750” ID to 24” ID (171 mm - 610 mm) with direct-view color TV cameras
- Pneumatically operated cylinders that center and position the weld head
- Extremely fast mount/dismount times
- Automatic arc voltage control
- Synchronized torch oscillation and pulsed wire feed
- Remote-control torch tilt +/- 15 degrees (cross-seam)
- Built-in wire feeder and wire spool holder
Compatible with the AMI Model 415 and Model 501 Hot Wire Power Supplies.
